Peanut Butter Cookies for Babies
Ingredients
- 1 cup Almond flour or oat flour
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 cup creamy natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup maple syrup depending on sweetness preference. Alternatively, try 1 mashed banana.
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- If you don't have almond flour you can make oat flour by blending rolled oats in a food processor until it reaches a fine, flour-like consistency.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the almond, peanut butter, mashed banana, vanilla extract and cinnamon. If desired, add honey or maple syrup to sweeten the dough. Adjust the sweetness according to your baby's preference. Stir until you have a cohesive cookie dough.
- Stir until you have a cohesive cookie dough. If the dough is too sticky, sprinkle a little more flour. If its too dry add more mashed banana.
- Scoop small portions of the dough and shape them into small cookies. Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet with some space between each. Gently flatten with a fork to create ridges. The dough might be sticky so dip the fork in water when making the ridges.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden. Keep an eye on them to prevent over-baking. They might be soft at first, but they will evenly firm up.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Once cooled, serve these delicious and baby-friendly peanut butter cookies to your little one. Remember to supervise them while eating to ensure safe consumption.

[…] Healthy Peanut Butter Cookies […]
You have written 1/4 tbsp maple syrup. Is that supposed to be cup instead of tbsp?
Hi, that’s correct. it’s 1/4 cup. Thanks for pointing that out, i’ll update the recipe.
I keep seeing mashed bananas but I don’t see it as an ingredient listed, can you confirm?
Mashed banana is an optional ingredient for extra sweetness if needed.
Are these freezable?
Yes! Freeze in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
Cookies should be storage on the fridge? For how long are cookies good on the fridge?
Great question! These cookies can be stored in the fridge to keep them fresh longer. Typically, they should stay good for about 1 to 2 weeks. Just make sure they’re in an airtight container to maintain their flavor and texture. If you need to keep them for a longer period, freezing is also an option!
Do I need maple syrup or honey?
Is it good without
I haven’t tried it without but you can try it using banana as the sweetner.
