Why Spinach is Great for Babies & Kids

Spinach is a nutrient-dense leafy green. It contains iron, folate, fiber, vitamin C, and antioxidants that is known to help support brain development, digestion, and immune health. Blending spinach into oat-based recipes like these spinach banana oat waffles makes it easier to offer vegetables in a familiar, comforting format. This works especially for kids who are still learning to enjoy greens.
