Ingredients

1 cup all-purpose flour, spoon and leveled
 
1 teaspoon baking soda
 
1/2 teaspoon salt
 
1/2 cup cocoa powder
 
4 bananas, mashed
 
2 eggs,  at room temperature
 
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
 
1/2 cup brown sugar
 
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
 
1/3 cup sour cream or plain Greek yogurt
 
3/4 chocolate chips
 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash bananas, add eggs, coconut oil, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt until combined and sugar dissolves.
  3. To the same bowl add flour, salt, baking soda and cocoa powder and mix until completely combine. Add chocolate chips or chopped chocolate chunks.
  4. Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. (Make sure to not over bake. The toothpick might come out with a some melted chocolate chips)
